12/18 – PERSONAL SAFETY TRAINING: Realistic Self Defense Training. Overview of Course: Students will receive extensive training in field-tested techniques on using pressure points and realistic techniques as ways to disengage from violent persons. Pressure point control tactics are tactically and medically sound methods. It is a system designed around striking nerve motor points (which invokes temporary paralysis).

11/2 Election Day -V O T E ! ! ! ! If you are not working for a candidate of your choosing, then we need you at polling locations at 21 locations around the county to pass out our Caldwell TEA Party Voter Guide. After the polls close, and if you feel like getting together to watch the election results come in with some other Conservatives — COME TO THE DOWNTOWN Caldwell County Building offices at the Board of Elections office off of Harper Ave. We will watch the results for Caldwell County, state, and national races come in.

11/12 – Canvass Day at the Board of Elections open to the public. This is the day they make all the election results official and send them to the NC Secretary of State for finalization.

11/26 – Float decorating at my parents house on Taylorsville Rd. 2pm until we get it done. If it’s raining Friday, we’ll do it all on Saturday before the parade. We can meet downtown around 11am.
11/27 – CHRISTMAS PARADE, Line-up at noon. Parade begins at 2pm. Downtown Lenoir. We will have a truck and trailer float with children riders. Six-year old Keren Bennett will be reciting the opening lines to the Declaration of Independence on the float. We need lot’s of people (adults, teens, and kids). We can have as many people who want to walk with the float walking with the float!! Who wants to carry the Caldwell TEA Party Banner and walk in the front of the truck and yell “Merry Christmas!”? Let’s all meet with flags and signs at in the Lenoir Walmart Parking lot at 3:30pm and leave at 4pm. We can have our own mini rally up the mountain. Meet in the Walmart parking lot out by 321 on the south side. Bring your families and homemade signs.

June 4-6, 2010 – NC State GOP Convention.
June 4, 5, & 6(?), 2010 – Sarah Palin speaking in Wilkesboro and Charlotte. One event is $300 per person, and the other is $500 per person. The group had no interest in the expensive events.
July 17th, 2010 – American Majority Activist Training. Jessica Wood will be coming in to give a three hour activist training seminar (THE SYSTEM, GRASSROOTS ACTION, PRECINCT POWER, and PATRIOTS 2.0). $25 fee. Class to be held at the Caldwell County Library. We will also be available to assist in setup of social network sites for an additional $5 before and after the class. Time TBA.
June 14-15, 2010 – Foothills912Project – Loren Spivack from Free Market warrior will be having a 2-day seminar at 1218 Fairgrove Church Road (Hickory Church of Christ) June 14th & 15th at 6pm.
If you want to learn more about our monetary system and economics, please plan to attend this free seminar next week. Another local group is hosting this seminar and have invited us to attend. You all know who he is. He was the merchant who was closed down for selling Conservative books, t-shirts, and bumper stickers in the Concord Mills Mall. Remember that scandal? You won’t want to miss this.
June 24th Meeting:
- July 1st Caravan info to Boone for Boone TEA Party #3 Rally at Golden Corral on 321. Let’s all meet with flags and signs at in the Lenoir Walmart Parking lot at 3:30pm and leave a 4pm. We can have our own mini rally up the mountain. Meet out by 321 in the south side. http://www.booneteaparty.org/ If you can’t make it to the Walmart parking lot, please just drive to Boone on your own. We’ll stick around after the speeches and go grab a bite to eat together. Come with us!
- July 3rd Collettsville fireworks. Shirley will be manning a table. She will set up at 3 with kids games and lots of literature.
- July 4th, Independence Day, Lenoir, Mulberry Park, 4:30pm – 10pm. Fireworks start at 9:30pm. I will be there passing out TEA Party info and talking to people. Please join me. Wear you favorite Liberty t-shirt and carry an American flag.

May 7-8, 2010 - Post-Party Summit in Charlotte sponsored by American Majority, Red State, and Smart Girl Politics. This was a great location with all the amenities. The speakers for energized and knowledgeable. I left with a new understanding of the political landscape in today’s world.
May 14-16, 2010 – NC TEA Party Summit in Hickory sponsored by Americans For Prosperity, Civitas, and the John Locke Foundation. Micheal Reagan spoke at the dinner on Friday night and so did I. I also was given the opportunity to address 300+ people Saturday morning about the direction of the TEA Party movement in North Carolina today.
