Caldwell TEA Party VOLUNTEER MEETING. I will have a list of all the polling places for May 8th, so we can plan where to have people for the day. Election day is from 6:30am-7:30pm, and I can use anyone for any amount of time – 30-minutes to the full 13-hours. It’s fun and you might see all your neighbors at the poll. Please some out and help on Tuesday. This is a our best opportunity to have your favorite candidate on ballot in November.
There are still a few unanswered questions, that I will fill in as soon as I can. Please share with friends, family and co-workers. Check back often for updates.

On the 5th of May, the Saturday immediately preceding the upcoming primary election, concerned citizens of Wilkes and neighboring counties, as well as neighboring states (believe it or not–HEY DAVE and SARAH!!), are gathering for a March For The Marriage Amendment and Rally in Wilkesboro, NC. There will be music and outstanding speakers and, believe me, YOU DON”T WANT TO MISS THIS ONE!!

4/26 – Invitation for Caldwell TEA Party: Breakfast with Dan Forest. Personally meet with a North Carolina candidate for Lieutenant Governor Dan Forest. Dan Forest and the Bubba1 bus will be at Granny’s Kitchen in Icard this Thursday April 26th from 7:30-9:30am. Join us for a dutch treat breakfast with Dan Forest. Granny’s Kitchen is just off I-40 at exit 116.
4/26 – Caldwell TEA Party regular meeting, THURSDAY, 7pm at the Library. Candidates I know to be coming: David Scholl for Secretary of Public Instruction. (I will add to the calendar today as people confirm. I’m waiting to here from a couple more candidates to confirm.) EVERYONE IS WELCOME!! I could use volunteers to help pass out Voter Guides at Early Voting any day between now and May 8th. Please help if you can. Call me 474-0022.
4/28 – Illegal Immigration Forum at Mitchell Community College in Statesville. Guests: Register here. There will be three, possibly four, sessions in the seminar on illegal immigration:
- Sheriff Larry Dever from Cochise County AZ,
- Mike Culter former INS Agent, and regular FoxNews guest
- Sheriffs from Alamance and Rockingham counties,
- and possibly a special early visit from Sheriff Arpaio from Maricopa County, NM..
4/30 – Defense of Marriage rally Poovey’s Chapel Baptist Church in Hudson at 7pm. Dan Soucek, Creech, and many others to be speaking.
4/24 – Caldwell TEA Party regular meeting, Tuesday, 7pm at the library. I don’t have any speakers lined up for these meetings, but candidates are always welcome to show up. We have some business to conduct. The Voter Guide is ready to pass out – I hear some grumblings about it, so let’s all talk it out.

Illegal Immigration Forum
at Mitchell Community College in Statesville
I have reserved 12 seats for us and invited our Caldwell County Sheriff. He politely declined, citing all the work and travel he has been engaged in lately working against illegal immigration troubles in NC. He thanked me and asked that his 3 seats be given to anyone who hasn’t already heard the information.
