NC State Convention Delegates just received an email that KARL ROVE is the NCGOP CONVENTION guest speaker for Saturday night. Seriously? Rove? Has the NCGOP lost their minds? RNC Rules plea from ATP
Please vote to adopt the Minority Reports on Rules. This is not about preferring one candidate over another. It is about protecting each state’s right to choose how it selects and governs its own delegates. If the GOP proceeds with this debacle, it will have succeeded in disenfranchising its Conservatives and grassroots activists. The GOP will go the way of the Whigs. Continue reading
anti-Agenda 21 at the NC GOP
Keeping their quorum as dinner and the keynote speech by Donald Trump approached, Republican Delegates, ignoring that they were almost two hours over the time allocated for business, stayed, and early Saturday evening passed a resolution in the GOP platform opposing Agenda 21. There was no debate. The resolution passed with unanimous consent to continuous thunderous applause!
Agenda 21 is no rumored conspiracy. It is a legitimately recognized threat to American sovereignty. Continue reading
TEA Party and GOP Not Mutually Exclusive
Now, not all TEA Partiers are Republicans. But all share common goals with the GOP philosophy – smaller government, more personal responsibility, lower taxes, etc… and thus they should be seen as an important constituency to the GOP in a 2012 victory. One thing that’s for sure, all registered Republicans asking to be involved with sometimes painful process of GOP politics are indeed Republicans first. The TEA Party thinks somewhere along the way, the GOP has forgotten their roots and abandoned their own platform. But the GOP probably only knows the strident, angry, sign-carrying mob who has had enough! I guess we’ve both come along way since November 2010. Continue reading
